  • As humans we “fight disease” and “battle illness.” Acceptance is the key to integrating balance with the powerful link between mind and body. True acceptance can transform physical illness into harmony and coherence.

  • Whether it is 45 min. or 45 seconds spend this time three times a day putting your attention on meal preparation, exercise or flexibility. For example: taking a couple minutes to stretch once or twice a day,  doing push-ups, or taking a run. By putting your attention on your health in a consistent, yet non-straining manner (45 sec.) you will be more likely to build a long lasting healthy routine.

  • Our morning shower is a great way to clean ourselves mentally too. As we are cleansing our bodies we can set the intention of wiping away stress. Watch all future worries and stress from the past flow down the drain. Then, use this purity, this fresh start to gain momentum for the day. Set an intention as to how you want the day to unfold.

  • Our food is medicine… Sometimes our bodies crave heavy foods. It is best not to judge this just compliment this high caloric intake with plenty of exercise.

  • The environment we choose for ourselves has an extremely powerful impact on our daily actions. If you are struggling with more negative habits, examine your environment. Replace the habit and tendency to go with the flow of past impulse, with desire and the intention to simply change where you habitually place yourself.

  • We tend to put off change. Very often it is easier to say, “I will do this later.” Nothing is more powerful than this moment. Really, later doesn’t exist, when later comes we are faced with the same issues as before (maybe stronger). The sooner we face the difficulty, the sooner we open up to growth, expansion and more appreciation.Perfect-Health-Happiness

Anytime you think about your breath throughout the day, follow this thought up with several deep belly breaths.

  • Our environment is a direct reflection of our inner state. This is where the saying, cleanliness is Godliness comes from. By doing the small things in the moment to clear clutter in our environment we are cleansing ourselves inside. When we maintain our physical space our mental, space becomes more clear.

  • Self massage is a great way to rid toxins and release stress and tension from the body. Massaging the soles of the feet alone releases stress throughout the whole body. Take your time and enjoy!
