God and Gods, Spirituality and Religion

Certain religions favor gods. My religious nature, had previously led me to fear or shun this term, gods. I have in the past been very devoted to the idea of one God, even never being so clear, as to Who or What I saw as God. I would quickly dismiss any other notion without much thought, mostly because this is what I was taught to do.

As my belief in God and religious pondering unfolded, a love for my own spirituality increased. I noticed this belief turn into a powerful faith. This faith not limited to a sect or idol, but a deep faith in life itself, every breath and mistake as having its own precision. With this faith, came the expansion of my personal religion. Thus, the dawn of a religion not limited to a Mosque or Church on Sunday, but a momentous dedication to my individual refinement toward… something divine.

spiritualityMy experience is that faith allows for acceptance and surrender, which is directly reflected in the physiology. Faith grows, it can decrease stress, lighten and open up opportunities on all levels. Faith provides a chance to let everything go, release all physical stress, and experience a glimpse of what it means to not only be human, but equally, if not more, a spiritual being.

My spiritual path has demonstrated the courage of belief, illuminated by persistence and repetition, rolling forth as a purifying source of knowledge, which is now a result of my own direct experience. The beauty of religious nature, like a seed, shaded with hues of perception- a catalyst for action, based off of what someone else believes is right for them was nourished with desire, and sprouted as a deeper understanding from my own inner book… a God given heart, and will to unfold it.

Today the thought of gods brings a smile to my face, because my experience of God is a growing phenomena of Unity. It is not limited to outstretched hands at the thought of locale, or a destination when… God is All Intelligence, All-Encompassing, and starts with the light that shines through me in this very moment, making all experience possible.

Every individual drop of rain is nothing but water, and will no doubt find its way to the Ocean.
