Master the Spring Cleanse
Posted by Eric Carter on May 18, 2010 in Holistic Health, Prevention | 0 commentsThe saying goes, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Holistic health-care has its basis in prevention. It is much easier to do the dishes after the meal than at the end of the day. Steady maintenance of anything cultivates a positive outlook and provides a sense of clarity that is absent with the build up of clutter.
I am currently on the 7th day of the master cleanse by Stanley Burroughs. I feel light, and refined. My sense of smell is enhanced and I feel more creativity than ever before. Today my weight is around as much, if not more than it was when I weighed myself about two weeks ago (before the cleanse). I am more toned. My body is functioning much more efficiently, creating a higher quality of muscle and eliminating more toxins with less caloric intake.
The main point here is the emphasis on keeping the channels of our bodies clear and clean for optimal physiological functioning. A spring cleanse can come in many forms. Research is recommended to find out what is best for you, and your body style (your particular situation). I do recommend the master cleanse because it provides the body nourishment and a way to eliminate toxins during the length of the cleanse.
This little yellow book is short and packed with information. If you are thinking about doing this cleanse, I recommend reading this book and following the directions completely. Click Master Cleanse by Stanley Burroughs to read the pdf version of his little yellow book.
The more we break our own boundaries mentally, and shape the physiology towards increasing efficiency, the more we open up to a life of infinite possibilities. We start to see a life we didn’t know existed. We open up to the color and richness that is all around us in every moment.
